The Magnum Foundation fosters creativity and diversity in documentary photography, activating new audiences and ideas through the innovative use of images. Through grant-making, mentoring, and creative collaborations, we partner with socially engaged image-makers experimenting with new models for storytelling.
This fall we are organizing an experimental lab for Magnum Foundation grantees to explore creative audience engagement. The lab is meant for participants who have completed or almost completed projects and feel ready to brainstorm about how a project might circulate in experimental and impactful ways.
If you are interested in participating, please fill out this very brief form by Aug 14th. We will review all proposals and get back to you with our decision by Aug 17th.
Sessions will be hosted on Zoom on the following dates:
- Session 1: Thurs 9/24, 10AM - 12:30PM EST
- Session 2: Thurs 10/22, 10AM - 12:30PM EST
- Session 3: Thurs 11/19, 10AM - 12:30PM EST
Please note that if this timing does not align with your schedule or you are not selected for this particular lab, we plan to offer these labs regularly in the future, so there will be additional opportunities to participate.
